Thank you for creating for me! This is my first Trick or Treat. Gifts are on and are welcome.

General likes:
Angst, getting back together, enemies to friends to lovers, lovers to enemies, spies, hurt/comfort, secret relationships, grief, coming back from the dead, coming back the dead wrong, sacrifices, self-destructive behavior, redemption arcs, corruption arcs, battle couples, friends with benefits to lovers, fake married*, character studies, loyalty kink, arranged marriage, character A (or group of characters) thinking character B is dead and losing their shit, kidfic in slash or femslash pairings, rule 63 when turning male characters to female, well deserved vacations, doomed romance, enjoying a nice bath or shower, reunions, horror vibes, fairy tale vibes, canon divergence AUs, nature imagery, the ocean, space, second chances, evil mentors

General DNWs:

Underage sex on page (fade to black/implied/referenced is fine), hard kinks, maledom/femsub, unrequested incest, unrequested cross-generational ships, fake dating*, shovel talks, stereotypical gender norms, controlling/domineering men in het, ace/aro headcanons for characters in romantic pairings, phonetic accents, de-aging/age regression, extreme gore beyond what we would see in canon, non-canon poly ships unless requested, major focus on insects, explicit noncon between the members of the pairing (dubcon or rape recovery-related is ok, as is sex pollen), bathroom humor, reader fic

Art likes:
Religious imagery, tarot, chiaroscuro, symbolism, the woods, nature in general, looming, sharp angles, eye imagery, comics, Art Nouveau, a claustrophobic feeling for tricks, a cozy feeling for treats; with ships, them wrapped up in one another in a way that excludes the outside world, which can be either sweet or creepy; characters in a “dark night of the soul” moment

Art DNWs:
Chibis in sexual situations

Smut likes:
Service tops, femdom, pegging, possessiveness, cunnilingus, light bondage, collaring, begging, biting/marking, overstimulation, stoned sex, emotional sex, semi-public sex, rough sex, body worship, proxy fucking, come play, fingers in mouths, hair pulling, sex on the floor, talking during sex

Smut DNWs:

Maledom/femsub, formal D/s dynamics (informal is fine), women receiving anal sex, het breeding kink, hard kinks, bathroom/vomit kinks, ageplay/ddlg, painful sex, men calling women names like "good girl" or "princess," etc., gendered degradation towards a woman in the pairing from a man in the pairing, asexual characters having sex

Harry Potter DNWs: Muggle AUs, character bashing including Dumbledore**, pureblood apologism/pureblood ideology validation, Dursley apologism, Snape or Regulus, any cross-generational ships unless requested, Ron/Draco, Draco/Hermione, Tonks/Lupin, Harry/Ginny (fine to mention as something that happened in the past, or fine if Harry is going to cheat on her. Sorry Ginny)

Locked Tomb DNWs: AUs without necromancy, requited Harrow/Ianthe (one-sided on Ianthe’s part is fine), Dulcinea/Palamedes, Dulcinea/Camilla, "John did nothing wrong"

Yellowjackets DNWs:
Jeff or Travis, a POV character getting cannibalized unless it happened in canon, complete setting change AU, Lottie being villainized

Fire Emblem DNWs: Someone killing Edelgard unless she also kills them or heavily haunts them afterwards or the story is about guilt/regret; Bernadetta; Sylvain

Dragon Age DNWs: Major focus on/presence of Hawke, templar apologism, Anders bashing from characters who don't dislike him in canon

Common DNWs I'm okay with: Bittersweet, unresolved or unhappy endings (I just ask that you tag it as such so I can be warned), infidelity (with the main pairing cheating on other partners with each other, not on each other), rule 63/genderbend if it turns male characters to female, body horror, mpreg (just prefer not a huge focus on the birth experience)

*You may have noticed that I like fake marriage as a trope, but not fake dating. I think the distinction for me is that I personally find it hard to buy into scenarios where fake dating is apparently necessary, but there are some things you legally need to be married for, or have needed historically. I also like the implied commitment of marriage and that other people in the characters’ lives would need to know about it, making it that much more complicated/hard to ignore. There are also scenarios that involve this trope that I like, such as being undercover as a married couple or magic that requires a marriage/joining/whatever.

**Totally fine with characters having a range of opinions about him/acknowledging his canon flaws. I just won't want them to sit around talking about how much he sucks without nuance/am not interested in mustache twirling villain!Dumbledore who paid Ron and Hermione to be Harry's friends, etc.
